Rebalance Allergy Therapy
A balanced immune system is a happy immune system
Your immune system is responsible for keeping your body healthy and functioning. Everyday we are exposed to elements that stress or weaken our body.
When an energy imbalance is present and your immune system perceives a substance as harmful, allergy symptoms can occur and be magnified.
We will restore your body’s energy balance so you can feel better and function at a more optimal level.
What is an allergy?
Western medical views an allergy an over-reaction by the immune system. But medical scientists are still researching to find the exact cause and nature of allergies and may not have all the answers for years to come.
In NAET®, we view allergies from a holistic perspective based on Oriental medical principles. An allergy is one or more substances that trigger an unusual sensitivity in one person but may be harmless to the majority of other individuals. In the allergic person, the allergic substance, known as an allergen, is treated by the immune system as a threat to the body's well-being.
For our purposes, an allergy is defined in terms of what a substance does to the energy flow in the body. An allergen causes blockages in the energy pathways called meridians. This disrupts the normal flow of energy through the body's electrical circuits, causing interference in communication between the brain and body via the nervous system. This blocked energy flow is the first step in a chain of events that can develop into an allergic response.

What causes allergies?
Genetics
Allergies have a strong genetic component and can be passed down generationally, often presenting in different ways. Family members may be allergic to different substances or to the same substance but have different reactions.
Emotions
Allergies can be caused by emotions. Trauma or extreme stress may cause the central nervous system to misinterpret the emotional response as being caused by a food, chemical or otherwise harmless substance, and then trigger a reaction.
Environment
We live in a toxic world. The air we breathe, food we eat, buildings we live in, clothing we wear and chemicals we use on our bodies are just some of the toxins that we are exposed to. As our world becomes more toxic and our food more processed, allergic reactions continue to rise.
Medications and Vaccinations
Vaccinations and drug-related reactions are well-documented sources of allergic symptoms.
